I admit it, this idea is a spin off of Shane from Shoeboxlegends on You Tube and his Franken Set. Shane has completed a Topps buy-back Franken set made up of his favorite buy-back cards for each card numbered 1 through 792.
My Franken set will be somewhat similar, except I will not be going after buy-back cards. That difference will make it easier to progress hopefully. I plan to populate the set (#1-792) with cards that I like. I will not restrict myself to Topps either, but Fleer, Donruss, Upper Deck, "odd ball" sets, and other brands will be fair game. There will be plenty of Hall Of Famer cards, but also cards that I think are just cool or fun. Example: the 1986 Fleer #396 Mickey Hatcher with the giant glove. I also plan to make room for Traded cards such as 1976 Topps Traded #74T of Oscar Gamble (you know, the one with Oscar's massive afro!)
Franken Set - Any condition goes, but any card may be replaced by another card at any time that I find one at that number that I like better!
