Here I will list cards that I have, or plan to have, autographed. I am going to try to get some Through The Mail (TTM), but others I will buy already autographed if the player doesn't have a good enough response rate, or if the player is deceased obviously.

Richie Ashburn
1952 Topps #216 - I bought this card at a card shop in (I think) Lake Geneva, WI during a business trip with my dad as he was setting up one of his greyhound racing kennels in the area. Later, Richie Ashburn was playing in the Fed Ex St. Jude Classic celebrity Pro-Am in Memphis, TN and I got him to autograph it in between holes. He was riding a cart instead of walking, so I had to chase him down and verify it was him. He was surprised that I had such an old card of his.

1978 Topps #170 - My first baseball on card autograph. I remember looking for cards to get autographed and dealers trying to convince me to get a photo or ball auto'd instead. The one I bought this from said something along the lines of "well if you're going to get a card autographed at least pick an inexpensive one.". I wish I would have listened to my instincts in that situation and bought an earlier playing days card for him to autograph, but oh well!

1986 Donruss #39 RC - I pulled this Canseco rookie card from a pack of Donruss cards back in 1986! It has stayed in my collection since then. In 2023 (I think!) I was able to get it autographed at the Music City Autograph Show.

Joe Scott was a former negro league baseball player that routinely was at the Southland Greyhound Park in West Memphis, AR where my dad had a racing kennel for many years. My dad and he became good friends and I picked up these two cards of him many years later.
